What is 3D printing?
3D printing is a way to bring ideas and concepts to life.
At Drunken Elephant Designs LLC, we use a process known as thermoplastic extrusion. Our software allows the printer to create a physical replica from a 3D model or a 2D drawing.
What materials can be used?
There are a variety of materials being used in the industry today.
At DED, we use ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) plastic and PLA (polylactic acid) plastic.
Do I have to have a design for you?
No.

What file formats can you use?
There are several file formats that can be converted into a printable file format (.stl)

How long does it take?
The time varies from print to print depending on the complexity and detail of your print.
After your design is rendered in .stl format, we can give you an actual estimate for print times.
Do you ship out of state?
Yes.
